10.6. Step by step creating of Ladder We assume that Tags already exist and that we work with global Tags. Suppose we are controlling a Reservoir LEVEL. When it reaches the value 150, we start the PUMP to remove water. At the same time, we start an INTEGRAL timer that memorizes the number of minutes the pump has been working. The PUMP can also be started manually. When 6000 minutes are reached, the timer - status TIMER - is at 1 and activates the output MAINTENANCE.
