7. <strong>opsi</strong>-server with multiple depots<br />
● Clients connected to different depots can be managed in one bundle if the<br />
involved depots are synchronized (have all product packages in identical<br />
versions).<br />

7.3. Creating a (slave) depot-servers<br />
In order to create a <strong>opsi</strong>-depot-server you have to install a standard <strong>opsi</strong>-server (see<br />
<strong>opsi</strong>-server installation manual). This server can be configured to act as depot-server by<br />
calling the script /usr/share/<strong>opsi</strong>/register-depot.py . Because this script does<br />
not only reconfigure the local server, but also registers this server as depot-server with<br />
the central config-server, username and password of a member of the <strong>opsi</strong>admin group<br />
have to be suplied here.<br />
