backend <strong>opsi</strong> V3 may use different types of data storage (backends) like File<br />

or LDAP. Which and how these backends are used is configured by<br />

the -> backend manager.<br />

backend manager Program / configuration file to configure the different backends<br />

clientId unique identifier for a client using the 'full qualified hostname'<br />

e.g. dpvm02.<strong>uib</strong>.local<br />

hostId unique identifier for a computer using the 'full qualified hostname'<br />

e.g. dpvm02.<strong>uib</strong>.local<br />

installation status actual installation status of a product on a specific client,<br />

typically something like: 'installed' or 'not installed'. -> action request<br />

LastSeen Time stamp of the last client call to the <strong>opsi</strong> web service<br />

localboot product An <strong>opsi</strong> packet which will be installed by the <strong>opsi</strong>-preloginloader<br />

netboot product An <strong>opsi</strong> packet which will be handled by starting a boot image<br />
