Group 057, Dried herbs. The commodities of this group are <strong>in</strong> general artificially dried and often comm<strong>in</strong>uted.<br />

For the commodities <strong>in</strong> the “fresh” state see Group 027 Herbs.<br />

Exposure to <strong>pesticides</strong> is from pre-harvest applications and/or treatment of the dry commodities.<br />

They are consumed <strong>in</strong> the dried form or soaked as a condiment <strong>in</strong> <strong>food</strong> commodities of plant or animal orig<strong>in</strong><br />

or <strong>in</strong> dr<strong>in</strong>ks, generally <strong>in</strong> small amounts.<br />
