TILT LOCK<br />

Use the tilt lock lever to hold the<br />
motor in the highest tilt position when<br />
the boat is moored for a long time.<br />
1. Move the tilt lever to the FREE<br />
position (refer to page 56), then pull<br />
the engine cover grip and tilt the<br />
motor all the way up.<br />
2. Move the tilt lock lever to theLOCK<br />
position and lower the outboard<br />
motor slowly.<br />

4. To lower the motor, move the tilt<br />
lever to the FREE position. Lift up<br />
on the engine cover grip and swing<br />
