Section F- Supply Air Section
Inverters & Inverter Bypass Control Box
Until 3/05 (Code 8= P)**
Motor HP 30 - 75 (Code 22 or Code 32= Q, R, S, T or U)
Inverters may be located in a separate section (Code 14= 1, 2 or 4, only inverters WITH bypass may be installed in a separate section), or the
Supply Air Section (Code 14= 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9). The inverter and bypass controls are the same regardless of the installation location, although
the sheet metal components differ. The diagrams shown below apply to either a return air or supply air inverter (both may be installed if code 14=
5). Even if Code 14= 8 or 9— where only a return air fan inverter is called for— the inverter and bypass controls are still installed in the Supply
Air Section.
** If unit was built between 10/04 and 3/05 visual inspection is required to confirm installed components.
2 The inverter bypass box originally had a contactor (M10 or M20) installed. This was replaced with the Power Block.
