EXAMPLES OF MATERIALS SAFETY DATA SHEETS - MSDS<br />
MSDS can be obtained from a number of sources. In <strong>the</strong> first instance <strong>the</strong>se sheets should be requested<br />
from <strong>the</strong> chemical supplier, toge<strong>the</strong>r with o<strong>the</strong>r information on safe h<strong>and</strong>ling of <strong>the</strong> product. In<br />
addition a number of commercial publishing houses produce MSDS for general use. Finally, some<br />
national <strong>and</strong> international authorities produce guidance notes aDd advice on chemical hazards. Examples<br />
of safety data sheets prepared by Genium, <strong>and</strong> by <strong>the</strong> International Programme on Chemical<br />
Safety ([peS) are shown here.
