slender, sparsely pubescent, <strong>the</strong> spines small, ra<strong>the</strong>r flattened dis-<br />
tally and with <strong>the</strong> internal, densely punctate opaque areas c<strong>on</strong>spicuous;<br />
prothorax cylindric, ra<strong>the</strong>r l<strong>on</strong>ger than wide, <strong>the</strong> parallel<br />
sides feebly, subevenly arcuate throughout; surface very coarsely,<br />
deeply and closely but not c<strong>on</strong>fluently punctured throughout, without<br />
even a median smooth spot and with ra<strong>the</strong>r coarse, short, pale<br />
and decumbent hairs and a few spots of dense yellowish pubescence,<br />
of which <strong>on</strong>e at each side just before <strong>the</strong> middle is especially dense<br />
and well defined; scutellum well developed, densely pubescent,<br />
semicircular as usual; elytra three times as l<strong>on</strong>g as wide, parallel,<br />
straight at <strong>the</strong> sides, dehiscent at apex, fully <strong>on</strong>e-half wider than<br />
<strong>the</strong> prothorax, with sparsely scattered, irregular and dense pubescence<br />
but without erect hairs; punctures ra<strong>the</strong>r sparse, not very<br />
coarse, about half <strong>the</strong> diameter of <strong>the</strong> pr<strong>on</strong>otal punctures basally,<br />
becoming fine and feebly asperulate distally; under surface finely,<br />
sparsely punctate, <strong>the</strong> prosternum coarsely and densely. Length<br />

<strong>the</strong> apex of <strong>the</strong> lateral spines, coarsely, ra<strong>the</strong>r closely punctate<br />
basally, finely but not asperulately toward apex; pale<br />
hairs ra<strong>the</strong>r<br />

shining but with <strong>the</strong> elytra distinctly tapering from base to apex<br />
and <strong>the</strong> antennae more slender though o<strong>the</strong>rwise nearly similar;
