GOH YEOW TIN<br />

Lead Independent Director<br />

Appointed: 22 June <strong>2011</strong><br />

(Retiring and standing for re-election at the forthcoming<br />

<strong>Annual</strong> General Meeting)<br />

Mr Goh Yeow Tin is our Lead Independent Director.<br />

He is currently the chief executive officer of Seacare<br />

Education Pte Ltd which specialises in providing<br />

educational services and consultancy in Singapore,<br />

Malaysia and China. Mr Goh began his career with<br />

the Economic Development Board (“EDB”) where he headed the Local Industries Unit and was subsequently<br />

appointed a director of EDB’s Automation Applications Centre between 1984 and 1988. He served as deputy<br />

executive director of the Singapore Manufacturers’ Association (now known as the Singapore Manufacturers’<br />

Federation) from 1983 to 1984. In 1988, Mr Goh joined Tonhow Industries Ltd, the first plastic injection moulding<br />

company to be listed on SESDAQ (now known as Catalist), and served as the deputy managing director until<br />

1990. Mr Goh was also a founding member of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME) in<br />

1986, and in 1989, Mr. Goh founded, and served as general manager of, International Franchise Pte Ltd, a<br />

pioneer in the franchising business in Singapore, until 1991. Between 1990 and 2000, Mr Goh served as the<br />

vice-president of Times Publishing Ltd., and was responsible for retail and distribution businesses in Singapore,<br />

Hong Kong and various parts of South-east Asia. He currently also serves as an independent director of Juken<br />

Technology Ltd (appointed in 2005), a non-executive director of Oakwell Engineering Ltd (appointed in 2006),<br />

and an independent director of Lereno Bio-Chem Ltd (appointed in 2007), and an independent director of<br />

Vicom Ltd (appointed in 2010), all of which are companies listed on the SGX-ST.<br />

Mr Goh was awarded the Public Service Medal in 1998 and the Public Service Star in 2006 by the President<br />

of the Republic of Singapore. Mr Goh is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He holds a<br />

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Singapore (now known as the<br />

National University of Singapore) and a Masters’ degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the<br />

Asian Institute of Technology.<br />

JONG VOON HOO<br />

Independent Director<br />

Appointed: 22 June <strong>2011</strong><br />

Mr Jong Voon Hoo is our Independent Director. Mr<br />

Jong currently serves as chief financial officer of<br />

Youcan Foods International Ltd, a company listed on<br />

the SGX-ST, where he is responsible for overseeing<br />

accounting and finance matters. Mr Jong began<br />

his career in 1996 in Arthur Andersen where he<br />

was involved in assurance, business advisory, and<br />

transaction advisory services. During his tenure in Arthur Andersen, Mr Jong was responsible for, inter alia,<br />

performing operational and financial audits of publicly listed companies and multinational corporations operating<br />

in different industries, and developing and implementing plans to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of business
