Blue faience.<br />

Intact but discoloured to brown on front <strong>and</strong> modern plaster adher<strong>in</strong>g to<br />

back pillar <strong>and</strong> base.<br />

Left h<strong>and</strong> holds a short pick, right h<strong>and</strong> a narrow hoe. Pla<strong>in</strong> tripartite<br />

lappet wig <strong>and</strong> beard. Diamond-hatched basket on left shoulder.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>gle column <strong>of</strong> impressed text down front, borders at sides.<br />

Broken through legs <strong>and</strong> re-jo<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>and</strong> restored; several chips miss<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Left h<strong>and</strong> holds a short pick with no cross-bar, right h<strong>and</strong> a narrow hoe<br />

<strong>and</strong> basket cord. Pla<strong>in</strong> tripartite lappet wig <strong>and</strong> beard. Square-hatched<br />

trapezoidal basket.<br />

<strong>of</strong> body <strong>and</strong> base.<br />

Very worn <strong>and</strong>/or <strong>in</strong>dist<strong>in</strong>ctly moulded; facial features mostly lost.<br />

Tripartite striated lappet wig with beard (damaged). Left h<strong>and</strong> holds<br />

pick without cross-piece; right h<strong>and</strong> holds narrow hoe <strong>and</strong> basket<br />

cord to pla<strong>in</strong> trapezoidal basket on left shoulder.<br />
