Pale blue faience.<br />

Intact; face <strong>and</strong> feet chipped.<br />

Very thickly modelled, <strong>and</strong> all features <strong>in</strong>dist<strong>in</strong>ct.<br />

Black pa<strong>in</strong>ted details - two hoes, simple eyes, no eyebrows, headb<strong>and</strong> with<br />

fillet. Pla<strong>in</strong>, unhatched, wide rectangular basket with two shoulder straps.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>gle column <strong>of</strong> black pa<strong>in</strong>ted text down front, no borders.<br />

Pale blue faience, now very faded.<br />

Intact; some damage to face. Set <strong>in</strong> a modern wooden mount.<br />

Crudely modelled <strong>and</strong> features are unclear.<br />

Black pa<strong>in</strong>ted details now very fe<strong>in</strong>t - two stylised hoes (only the<br />

right is clear), top <strong>and</strong> front lappets <strong>of</strong> wig. Face too worn to<br />

determ<strong>in</strong>e if eyes were orig<strong>in</strong>ally pa<strong>in</strong>ted.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>gle column <strong>of</strong> black pa<strong>in</strong>ted text, now very fe<strong>in</strong>t, down back;<br />

no borders.<br />
