Pale green faience.<br />

Good state <strong>of</strong> preservation.<br />

Very thick <strong>and</strong> fairly crudely modelled. Head leans slightly to left. Arms<br />

crossed right over left.<br />

Black pa<strong>in</strong>ted details - two hoes, full eyes, eyebrows, headb<strong>and</strong> with<br />

fillet. Vertically hatched rectangular basket, no straps <strong>in</strong>dicated.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>gle column <strong>of</strong> black pa<strong>in</strong>ted text down front <strong>and</strong> cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g onto<br />

underside <strong>of</strong> feet, no borders.<br />

Green faience, now buff-white <strong>in</strong> appearance.<br />

Right h<strong>and</strong> chipped.<br />

Quite crudely modelled with poorly def<strong>in</strong>ed facial features. Somewhat<br />

too wide <strong>and</strong> base oblique so that figure leans to left when st<strong>and</strong><strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Black pa<strong>in</strong>ted details - two hoes, full eyes, eyebrows, headb<strong>and</strong> with<br />

fillet, horizontally hatched rectangular basket with two shoulder straps.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>gle column <strong>of</strong> black pa<strong>in</strong>ted text down front, no borders.<br />

state <strong>of</strong> preservation. Back flat apart from bulge for buttocks. Arms<br />

crossed left over right.<br />

White pa<strong>in</strong>t wash overall, now worn away <strong>in</strong> several places. Black<br />

pa<strong>in</strong>ted details - two hoes, eyes <strong>and</strong> eyebrows <strong>in</strong>dist<strong>in</strong>ct, headb<strong>and</strong><br />
