Bright blue faience.<br />

Legs re-jo<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>and</strong> some slight salt encrustation otherwise good state <strong>of</strong> preservation.<br />

Fairly crudely modelled with thick legs <strong>and</strong> no facial features.<br />

Reis figure with pa<strong>in</strong>ted details <strong>in</strong> black/dark purple - whip trail<strong>in</strong>g<br />

from right h<strong>and</strong> which is by side; another whip <strong>in</strong> left h<strong>and</strong> which is<br />

across stomach. Solid spot eyes with fe<strong>in</strong>t <strong>in</strong>dication <strong>of</strong> brows. Solid<br />

wig.<br />

S<strong>in</strong>gle column <strong>of</strong> black pa<strong>in</strong>ted text down front, no borders.<br />

The second part <strong>of</strong> the name is uncerta<strong>in</strong>; a literal read<strong>in</strong>g would be .<br />

White faience.<br />

Intact but some crack<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> several places; surface flaked away under ch<strong>in</strong>.<br />

Fairly crude modell<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> facial features <strong>in</strong>dist<strong>in</strong>ct.<br />

Dark purple/black pa<strong>in</strong>ted details; duplex wig <strong>in</strong> solid black as are h<strong>and</strong>s. Pa<strong>in</strong>ted<br />

collar <strong>and</strong> two stylised hoes. No basket.<br />

Six l<strong>in</strong>es <strong>of</strong> maroon pa<strong>in</strong>ted text around body <strong>and</strong> s<strong>in</strong>gle column down back.<br />
