patients for particular treatments should be pursued. Efficacious systemic
treatment with early application of TRT, delivery of PCI with a normal tissue
protector (e.g., ethyol), conformal radiation therapy with respiratory
gating, appropriate supportive care to address pain, nutrition, respiratory
rehabilitation, and bone marrow suppression, and development of treatments
based on the biology of SCLC should all be pursued.
