Comments
Malvern is included within the
Cotswolds and Malverns Line
improvements but the rail stations
are not directly affected, though the
increase in capacity will improve the
rail service to the stations.
The opening of a Parkway station at
Norton could detract customers
away from the Malvern stations if
parking at Norton is easier.
Evesham is included within the
Cotswolds and Malverns Line
improvements but the rail stations
are not directly affected, though the
increase in capacity will improve the
rail service to the station.
The coalyard adjacent to the station
site may provide space for additional
car parking
Pershore rail station is directly
affected by the Cotswold and
Malverns Line proposals with a
second platform proposed
Pershore station is 2 miles out from
the main town. Access to the station
is limited as turning movements for
buses is restricted as is car parking.
Stourport Relief Road proposals -
long term so should not deter from
improving bus stops
