Thank you for yours. Following our initial telephone conversation, I<br />

contacted the rest of the Rhodes Supervisory Committee.<br />

We see no reason to deny your request for a suspension of the Rhodes<br />

Scholarship, and we sympathise with your desire to return to your family<br />

with all due speed. We will expect you back in Oxford in October of<br />

next year. Please contact me no later than August 15, 1990, to confirm<br />

your intent.<br />
