What does your
brand look like?
An opinion leader in Branding, Thebe Ikalafeng who is CEO of Brand Leadership,
addressed alumni at a luncheon which was also attended by staff
members of the Main Campus. He said branding differentiates a person from
competition. It confers “top of the mind” status. Thebe mentioned that trusted
brands receive the word of mouth benefit, which is an investment in itself.
Personal branding will attract the right people and opportunities. Doing what
you love is central to personal branding as it adds perceived value to what

Qwaqwa alumni together
The Qwaqwa Campus held an alumni function as part of its 25th
anniversary celebrations that will culminate in September 2007.
The function was attended by graduandi from the eras before and
after the incorporation of the campus into the UFS. Attending the
function were, from the left: Mr Skhalo Malinga (former president of
the Student Representative Council) and Dr Nyefolo Malete (Acting
Campus Principal).
