as high style became more available through readymade<br />
apparel, consumers clamored for the latest<br />
trends and the newest designs. The colorful cabbagerose<br />
pattern seen in a <strong>Museum</strong> piece <strong>of</strong> printed<br />
mohair (French or English) from this<br />
period is the source for the<br />
lavish roses on our luxurious<br />
