NEOCLASSICAL CIRCLE-LINK JEWELRY Within the furniture collection in the American Wing is a magnificent mahogany secretary-bookcase (1830), a masterpiece of both grandeur and scale. Though unsigned, it was possibly made in the New York workshop of cabinetmaker Robert Fisher (active 1824–1837). The design of our elegantly simple jewelry is taken from an interlocking circle motif stenciled on the front of this splendid piece. 24K gold overlay. Blakeney (American, 1878–1963) reveals a graceful and elegant style with a clear Arts and Crafts aesthetic.
