Prerequisites: graduate standing; required of all<br />

new Teaching Assistants. Seminars, workshops,<br />

and apprentice teaching. Selected topics including<br />

curriculum development, various teaching<br />

strategies and their effects, teaching evaluation, and<br />

other topics on college teaching. Students receive<br />

credit toward full time equivalence, but not towards<br />

any degree program. Graded only on satisfactory/<br />

501. Cooperative Program . (% to 2 courses ) Prerequisite:<br />

approval of <strong>UCLA</strong> graduate adviser and<br />
