My Gels Package
The list of gels is extensive. To quickly locate and select gels that you use on
a regular basis, create a customized gels package.
To create a Gels Package:
1. From the Negative node options window, click the Gels tab.
2. From the Gels list on the left, click the gel that you want to include in your
package. If necessary, click the + in front of a family of gels to display the
entire list.
3. Click the upper arrow that points toward the My Gels Package list.
The gel appears in the My Gels Package list.
This gel remains in the list until you remove it by selecting it and clicking
Remove.
Applying Gels to a Recipe
Select a gel to emulate from either the main Gels list to the left or from the My
Gels Package that you created.
To apply a gel:
1. From the Negative node options window, click the Gels tab.
2. (Optional) Click Quick Preview to open a Quick Preview window.
Use this window to immediately view the effects of the selections that you
make. However, this is a low-resolution image and should not be used to
make critical color decisions. Use the ImageViewer for critical color
decisions.
