Tool Nodes in Flowgraph View Merge Node Use this node to combine two or three looks or to recombine a single image that was split into color channels. IMPORTANT Recipes that use the merge node cannot be imported into the Main View. To use the Merge node: 1. Connect the Merge node into your recipe, and double-click it to open its options window. 2. (Optional) Click Quick Preview to open a Quick Preview window. Use this window to immediately view the effects of the selections that you make. However, this is a low-resolution image and should not be used to make critical color decisions. Use the ImageViewer for critical color decisions. 3. Enter the values for each color channel. The numbers for each color channel represent the percentage of red, green, and blue that goes into that channel. 4. Click Update to update the image in the ImageViewer. 5. Continue to adjust node options and update the ImageViewer until you achieve the desired look. 168 KODAK Look Manager System User Guide V2.2
Sample Recipes Using the Merge Node Merging Looks Tool Nodes in Flowgraph View If you want to do a 50-50 blend of two looks, you would enter the following values for Image Input 1 and Image Input 2: Merging a Split Image After an image has been split so that operations can be performed on individual channels, you will probably want to merge it. It is possible to perform a split and merge where you leave the values unchanged in the split and make the changes in the Merge node.
