southernmost point in Austria) are multiplied with the given average efficiency <strong>of</strong><br />

the modules <strong>an</strong>d multiplied with the given data on used area <strong>for</strong> PV from the<br />

feasibility study.<br />

4. Comparison<br />

In the fourth step, the dem<strong>an</strong>d <strong>an</strong>d <strong>supply</strong> curves are compared to derive daily<br />

<strong>an</strong>d <strong>an</strong>nual storage dem<strong>an</strong>d.<br />

5. Final assessment<br />

<strong>The</strong> last step compares the capacity <strong>for</strong> 2050 <strong>of</strong> Pumped Hydroelectric Storage<br />

with the total dem<strong>an</strong>d <strong>of</strong> <strong>electricity</strong> storage, to define how much storage capacity<br />

has to be gained additionally.<br />
