on environment-related data and outline sitespecific
environmental goals. In addition to
continuous monitoring of environmental
relevant areas. Directly involved in the
implementation of the environmental protection
international environmental guidelines as well
as with BMW procurement regulations. In this
area, special attention is paid to the BMW
compatibility of products.
Information promotes involvement
One of the keys to successful implementation
of the environmental management system is
keeping BMW employees informed.The workers
have direct access to a pool of comprehensive
information. Environmental topics are addressed
regularly in the BMW Group newspaper as
well as in the management memos for upperlevel
supervisors and the leaders’ briefing
documentation for team leaders. Special update
