She then m. William H. Cleveland, and died in Obio, and
left one son : John H. Cleveland.
VI. Mary Rudd (1800), born at Windliam, Conn., 22
Aug., 1770, second daiigliter of Deacon Jonathan Rudd of
Windham and his first wife, Mary Tracy (431), was a great
granddaughter of Jebez Hyde (8) of the third generation.
She m. 7 Feb., 1796, Asahel Lord, b. 6 Oct., 1767, at Norwich,
Conn., son of Deacon Nathan Lord and Abigail Ingraham
of Norwich, They settled at Leyden, N. Y.,
and removed to Madrid, N. Y., where she d. 22 Dec, 1812,
and he d. 9 April, 1818.
TJieir children were

5242a. Mary Rudd, b. 9 April, 1801, at Leyden. She m. 7 Oct.,
1819, Oliver Spencer, b. 1795, son of Jared Spencer,
and Margaret Wiggins of Haddam, Conn. They settled at
Madrid, and afterwards lived at New Haven, and removed
to Youngstown, N. Y., where he d. 3 May, 1861, aged 65
years and 11 months; and where she was living in Nov., 1861.
They had six children, the four first born at Madrid :

Fenn, son of George Fenn and Hannah Knickerbacker
of Youngstown, where she d. 9 July, 1855, and had three
children: Rosalia Jane, b. 2 Oct., 1844; Charles Walstein,
b. 6 July, 1846 ; and Herbert Spencer, b. 10 Jan., 1851.
2. Charles Sylvester, b. 18 May, 1822, m. Oct., 1847,
Mary Hyde, daughter of Dr. John A. Hyde and Sarah
Smith of Youngstown, a great granddaughter of Joseph
Hyde of Canterbury and afterwards of Sandy Hill, and his
first wife, Naomi Alderman. They were living at Youngstown
in 1861, and had one child : Sarah Amelia, b. Nov.,
1850.
3. Sarah Elizabeth, b. Sept., 1826, d. Sept., 1827.
4. Elizabeth Lord, b. 1828, d. 1839.
5. Henry Oliver, b. 20 June, 1831, m. 29 Oct., 1856,
Mary Elizabeth Wilcox, daughter of Charles Wilcox and
