Dec, 1823, Sarah Mciiill of Boston, where they settled, and
where she d. about 1834. He had by her four children,
born at Boston :
1. Sarah Gill b. 1 June, 1825, m. 19 Dec, 1844, William
E. Gutterson of Boston.
2. Frez Gill, b. Sept., 1827, a clerk at Detroit in 1859.
3. Mary L.,\). Sept., 1830, m. Gorham Boardman, a merchant
of Boston, and they were living at Brooklyn, N. Y., in
1859.
4. Henry Edwin, b. 22 Aug., 1832. He was a clerk in
1859.
He then m. 1835, Mary W. Butler of Litchfield, and they
were living at New York in 1859. He had by her one child :

1859.
5349. George Washington, b. 29 Oct., 1800, at Litchfield. He m.
14 April, 1824, Fanny Mills of Boston, where he d. G May,
1824. He had by her a posthumous child : Georgianna, b.
27 Feb., 1825, at Boston, who m. Hill, a merchant of
New York.
5350. I\Iary Sheldon, b. 31 Jan., 1787, at Litchfield. She m. her
fourth cousin. Rev. John Pierpont (3055), second son of
James Pierpont and Elizabeth Collins (8G9) of Litchfield.

1823, David Mayo, a merchant of Boston, and d. 3 Feb.,

5352. Abby Lyman, b. 6 Aug., 1804, at Litchfield. She m. 15
April, 1824, Jonathan Snelling, a merchant of Boston. They
removed to New York, where she d. 30 April, 1845, and
where he was living in 1859. They had three daughters.
