b. 3U Sept., 1838. He then m. Anne Barringtou of Phila-
delphia.

YL Lynde Lord (1828), born at Litchfield, Conn., 21
Oct., 1762, second son of Lynde Lord, Esq., (437) and Lois
Sheldon (1970), was a great grandson of Elizabeth Hyde
(9) of the third generation. He graduated at Yale in 1783,
and was a lawyer. He m. 13 Jan., 1786, his second cousin
of the Sheldon blood, Mary Lyman, b. 1764, at Northampton,
only daughter of Capt. Joseph Lyman of the army of
the revolution, and ]Mary Sheldon who was a niece of his
grandfather, Capt. Elisha Sheldon, who m. Elizabeth Ely
(462). They settled at Litchfield, where he was deputy
sheritF under his father. He d. 12 Feb., 1813, at Litchfield,
where she d. 12 May, 1843.
