HYDE GENEALOGY.
Conn., 16 June, 1772, third daughter of Capt. Ebenezer
Hartshorn and Abigail Barstow (433), was a great granddaughter
of Jal)ez Hyde (8) of the third generation. She
m. 8 Sept., 1791, Lavius Filhnore, b. 1 Oct., 1767, at l^orwich,
second son of Comfort Filhnore and Zerviah Bosworth
of Norwich {see M. 1051). He was a master builder,
and they settled at Franklin. About 1795, they removed
to Middlebury, Vt., and he died at Kew Haven, Vt.

1829, Alvira McNeil, who d. 20 July, 1842.
He then m. 2 Nov., 1846, Lucia Collins.
5251. Lorin B., b. 9 May, 1794, at Franklin.
5252. Lafayette, b. 11 Nov., 1798, at Middlebury. He was a physician,
and d. 6 Sept., 1819, at Norfolk, Va.
5253. Philetus P., b. 11 July, 1803, at Middlebury. He m. March,
1834, Mildred Cooper, who d. Aug., 1835.
He then m. July, 1837, Electa Dunning.
5254. Benjamin Franklin, b. 1 Dec, 1805, at Middlebuiy, d. 10
Aug., 1806.
5255. Benjamin Franklin 2d, b. 19 Sept., 1810, at Middlebury.
He m. Aug., 1834, Lorain Willie.
5256. Philura Hartshorn, b. 18 July, 1796, at Middlebury. She
m. 27 Nov., 1831, Phinehas Lord.
5257. Cleoria S., b. 14 March, 1801, at Middlebury. She m. 12
