4.4 Case Study<br />

Consider the 8-bus network of section 3.3, which is redrawn <strong>in</strong> figure 4.5. Network eng<strong>in</strong>eers<br />

suggest the follow<strong>in</strong>g plans for transmission expansion:<br />
