Student Exercise Guide
1. Click a word, and then from the pink Study Tools toolbar,
click the Dictionary button.
2. Choose Basic (5 th grade level) or Standard (7 th -8 th grade
level).
The dictionary entry for the selected word displays as
shown below.
Tip: If you want to define a word within the definition, double-click
the word to retrieve the definition for that word. Click the
Previous Look-up button to return to the original word.
3. When you finish working with the dictionary, click Close
to return to your document.
Finding a Word in the Thesaurus
There are several ways to look up a word in WYNN’s thesaurus.
