6.0 INDUCED POLARIZATION SURVEY
Reroy Belanger (Geophysical Contractor) carried out an induced
polarization survey over five test lines, 6E, 8E, 10E, 13E and
15E, using a metric grid system. A total of 3.8 kms of 50 metre
spreads 11=1 to nM was used with 1.0 hertz frequency measuring
the phase in millirads. The survey uses a dipole-dipole array
with a
50 m spread. A Phoenix, Turbo V-4 receiver and a Phoenix
T-l transmitter was used to carry out the survey generating 1.0
kw. of power.
The data is presented in a separate report by Remy Belanger as
pseudo-sections of the calculated apparent resistivity, phase and
metal factor.
Plan maps are presented as surface projections of
the interpretated I.P. anomaly zones, Frazer
Frazer filter phase and Frazer filter metal factor.
filter resistivity.
