18 azimuth of 210 degrees. (See Section H-OOE - Map No. S-91-3-03) A total of 41 samples of drill core were split from the three holes by Les Blain; twelve samples from hole No. PR-91-1; thirteen from hole No. PR-91-2; and sixteen from hole No. PR-91-3. The samples were assayed at Bell-White Laboratories Limited in Haileybury, <strong>Ontario</strong> using the fire assay and atomic absorption method.
19 7.0 RESULTS 7.1 Diamond Drilling Grid A-3 Hole No. PR-91-1 investigated the coincident horizontal loop electromagnetic, magnetic and gold in humus geochemical anomaly on line 2+OOE. The hole intersected 1.62 metres of banded cherty tuff from 67.14 to 68.76 metres with ID-15% disseminated pyrrhotite, minor pyrite and traces of chalcopyrite. This explains the coincident HEM and magnetic anomaly. The assays are very low in gold and copper. Grid A-8-9 Hole No. PR-91-2 explored the coincident weak horizontal loop electromagnetic and gold in humus geochemical anomaly on line 2+OOE. The hole intersected 2-3% disseminated pyrite from 69.43 to 75.28 metres in a intermediate to mafic tuff that is banded and weakly argillaceous. This probably explains the conductor but the gold assays are very weak. Grid A-6-7 Hole No. PR-91-3 investigated the strong horizontal loop electromagnetic anomaly on line 1+OOE. The hole intersected three bands of sulphide-magnetite-cherty iron formation over widths of 0.5 to 2.13 metres in amphibolitic basalt at metric intervals of 74.00 to 74.52, 75.77 to 77.90 and 87.78 to 88.69.
