Fridays, <strong>the</strong>ir one day off per week . Many malls and<br />
parks consider Friday a “family day,” and prohibit<br />
“bachelors,” or men unaccompanied by women or<br />
children, from <strong>the</strong>se ga<strong>the</strong>ring places. Both Asian and<br />
Western residents of Doha told <strong>Human</strong> <strong>Rights</strong> <strong>Watch</strong><br />
that “family day” restrictions are not enforced with<br />
