As ln the past. the Group hae been partlcularly concerned about
the problem of vlo1ationa of human rights. Severel membere have
tabled motions and questioned the Council and Commission on this
subject. A worklng party on hUmAn right_ waH .et up within the
Group.
Deeply concerned by the measures tsken to exile or Sakharov,
illustrating the repressive climate now prevailing in the Soviet
Unlon. the sociaiist Group has tabled a motion for a resolution
