of the 1930 budget. A note listing the principles tor and li=itB of
theee advancos and the criteria for granting them would be Bent to members of
the Bureau.
Also, a note would be sent to m~er8 of the Bureau on the possibilitioB
of organizing some of the SeCretariat's activitlee on a decentralized basia
by creating joint seoretariats in certain countries.
The Bureau would give its views On thie later.
6. Consideration of the letter from the chairmen of the Staff Ccmmittee On
the working conditions of the staff of the European Parliament (PE 63.316)
Following a wide-ran9ing debate the Bureau considered that in thi. letter
from the chairman of the Staff Committee 80me views Or positions concerning
Parliament's places of work were not the concern of staff.
Neverthe1ese the Bureau felt that the recent decisions on the place of
part-sessions had definite consequences for the social and family life of the
staff and decided that a meeting shOuld be held between the Eureau of ~h.
Group and a delegation from the Staff Committee to con_ider these points.

Report on the results of the meeting of certain members of the Group
with a representative of the PLO
Held over to the next meeting.
8. Appointment of a trainee under the Francia Vala fund
Held OVer to the next meeting.
9. Other business
The Bureau conBidered the problems raised by the direct submission of a
document on tile revision of the common agricultural poltcy under Rule 25
before the group's working party on agriculture hed discussed it.
10. Date and plsce of next meeting
The next meeting of the Bureau will take place on Tuesday, 2S March at
