Introduction<br />
3D gesture service is a part of Amigo <strong>User</strong> <strong>Interface</strong> <strong>Service</strong>s. It enables recognition of free<br />
form 3D gesture based on wireless handheld sensor device. The sensor device can be used<br />
for controlling appliances in three different modes:<br />
1. gesture mode by performing discrete pretrained gesture with the controller device;<br />
2. tilt mode by tilting the controller device;<br />
3. compass mode by rotating the controller device.<br />
The system has optional support for physical selection of objects by means of infrared<br />
pointing.<br />
The following guidelines are provided to help to getting started on working with the 3D Gesture<br />
<strong>Service</strong>.<br />
Development status<br />
3D Gesture <strong>Service</strong> is now available as Amigo Web <strong>Service</strong>. Gesture trainer works as<br />
separate application.<br />

VTT owns the IPR for software and hardware. Licensing is negotiable with separate<br />
