to transfer modern, classic, and Internet radio to your iPod or iPhone.

If you want to record your favorite radio show, then
listen to it on your iPod, iPhone, or computer at your
convenience, Griffin Technology’s Radio SHARK 2
($50) for PCs and Macs is a great option. The black
and chrome fin serves as a large FM/AM antenna,
and is equipped with lights that glow blue for normal
reception and red when you’re recording. Included
software also gives you time-shifting capabilities:
activate it to gain TiVo-style pausing and rewinding of
live broadcasts, plus scheduled recording of stations. PC
users also get SnapTune One, a high-tech song finder.

HD iTunes Tagging

iPod stereos, slightly boosting FM radio sound
quality and adding song “tags” that you can
save to select iPods, letting you buy tracks

Over 50,000 stations broadcast
free Internet Radio. StationRipper
for PCs ($20, stationripper.com)
records up to 600 stations at once,
and auto-tags songs. For Mac users,
Rogue Amoeba’s RadioShift ($32)
can schedule recordings of Internet
Radio, as well as AM/FM radio if you
attach a Radio SHARK.
