This would be an opportunity to share perspectives with peers at other academic centers. I really enjoyed the lunch portion with representatives from AIM. Our table sat with Kevin from UCSF who brought his insights from IT for a good back and forth at the table and we got to know the differences and similarities through casual discussion. Topics to address at future AIM precourses: How to retrieve evaluations in a timely manner. Faculty recruitment and compensation. Topicts on Citizenship/VISA;H1 &J1 All topics were exactly what I had question in The role of admin in medical staff appointments Other comments about the AIM Precourse for New Administrators: Nancy and Susan were the strongest presenters and had valuable insights and information to share. Thank you for putting the program together. The Guide is very helpful. It was very infomative and assisted in understanding the role much better of the administrator. Presentations were a bit long. AV support was poor at the beginning GREAT speaker The presentation was showy but failed to engage; the content was all material I’ve heard over and over again. Seemed a bit condescending at times. Well done talk Boring and not relevant The President of AAIM was boring and the content he presented had little relevance to us. The audio equipment was poor. The second speaker was much better.
