IRC Romania team will act to support<br />
Romania for European Integration. Just for<br />
that the TTT and Innovation process will be<br />
focused on the co-operation between<br />
Romanian and European partners. The target<br />
group is officials from the government,<br />
central and local public authorities, research<br />
organisations, universities, SMEs and civil<br />
society. The main target of the IRC is to<br />
couple efforts (technically and financially)<br />
coming from institutions and persons in<br />
charge for the local development. IRC<br />
Romania will provide its services at national<br />
level, covering all of Romanian territory<br />
using a network of 7 regional partners. Each<br />
partner will provide information to SMEs,<br />
universities and research organizations<br />
situated in the Development Regions defined<br />
through the Law 151/1998.<br />
The proposed project promotes the<br />
innovation and trans-national technology<br />
transfer, in line with one of the main<br />
objectives of the framework programme.<br />
Also, IRC Romania will provide costeffective<br />
services that promote trans-national<br />
cooperation, respecting the real regional<br />
needs and that will be in synergy with<br />
national and regional support scheme.<br />
The main objective of this project is to<br />
develop and maintain a high level of IRC<br />
Romania services capability in delivering<br />
successful transnational technology transfer<br />
(TTT) to the local clients whilst addressing<br />
capacity deficits and encouraging the<br />
attainment of economic benefits for clients<br />
through successful agreements. For Romania,<br />
the target group will be especially the SMEs<br />
sector, but other organizations will be also<br />
targeted (such as universities, research<br />
centres, larger companies, professional and<br />
trade association, development agencies).<br />
1. Promoting the IRC Romania, its services<br />
and IRC Network in Romania, by:<br />
a) Organizing and participating at events<br />
(9 press conferences/one per<br />
Development Region; participating as<br />
speakers at conferences, exhibitions, fairs,<br />
seminars)<br />
a) Elaborating presentation and<br />
information materials (IRC Romania<br />
newsletter – IRC Romania News; 12<br />
issues/year; 500 copies/month; IRC<br />
Romania web-page; articles in<br />
professional papers)<br />
b) Contacting people (by phone, email,<br />
mail, fax, direct – meetings)<br />
2. Supporting the Romanian SMEs<br />
development by implementing<br />
innovative/modern technologies, by:<br />
a) Identification of technology needs and<br />
their promotion through IRC network<br />
b) Promotion of technology offers<br />
received from the IRC network or from<br />
other sources<br />
c) Provide assistance for developing TT<br />
projects between identified partners<br />
3. Assisting the national technology providers<br />
to promote at European level their innovative<br />
products and technologies, by:<br />
a) Identification of national technology<br />
offers and promotion using the IRC<br />
network<br />
b) Promotion of technology requests<br />
received from the IRC network members<br />
(or from other sources) to local providers<br />
matching the external needs with the local<br />
offer<br />
c) Providing Assistance for developing<br />
technology transfer projects between<br />
identified partners<br />
4. Promoting the trans-national dissemination<br />
and exploitation of the Community research<br />
results in order to improve the economic and<br />
social impact of framework programme<br />
research activities and to enhance public<br />
awareness of the benefits of innovation, by:<br />
a) Identification of Community research<br />
results, especially those results identified<br />
as suitable for third party exploitation,<br />
and including cooperation especially with<br />
EUREKA representatives<br />
b) Promotion of research results to local<br />
industry or to external partners
