Expected achievements
The expected achievements can be listed on 3
groups:
1. Increased capabilities of 13 Regional
Contact Points from Poland, Romania,
Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary,
Turkey
a. better knowledge on specific FP6
issues as result of workshops,
exchange of experience and
fellowships,
b. better tools (including electronic
platform) provision of information
and assistance to the regional
scientific community and companies
c. long term network of contact points
enabling active search for the
researchers and in the region to be
matched with researchers and
companies from Member States
2. Information and assisted provided to
the regions
a. increased awareness on the FP6
priorities and specific calls,
participation rules, stimulation of the
proposal preparation
b. practical training on how to
participate in FP6 for potential
applicants and how to prepare a good
proposal based on based practices
from Member States
c. international contacts between the
researchers with a view of future
partnerships in project consortia –
initiated on the brokerage events,
assisted as a result of fellowship and
later on as the mediation between the
project partners.
3. Better visibility of 13 ACC regions
among European research community
a. information on the research potential
provided to MS contact points and
specific organisations during
fellowships and 13 brokerage events,
b. promotion of the project and its
activities via CORDIS, IGLOO and
NCP network
