Hamilton, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence,<br />

Pike, Scioto or Warren <strong>County</strong> in Ohio,<br />

or Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley or Switzerland<br />

Association Human Services Scholarship<br />

Eligibility: Must be a graduating high school<br />

senior in the Upper Cumberland Counseling<br />

Association regional service area of Bell,<br />

Rockcastle or Whitley <strong>County</strong>; plan to major<br />

in the area of human services (counseling,<br />

sociology, education, psychology, child<br />

development, social work or special<br />

education); submit a typed and doublespaced<br />

essay of 300- to 500-words indicating<br />

the desire to attend college, major and why<br />

they have chosen that field of study; submit<br />

a 7th-semester transcript and a copy of an<br />

ACT score report if ACT scores are not<br />

included on the transcript; include a copy<br />

of admissions application and/or college<br />

acceptance letter; and submit at least 1 letter<br />

of reference from a current teacher.<br />
