Eligibility: Must be a high school graduate<br />
or hold a GED; be a <strong>Kentucky</strong> resident for<br />
at least the last 2 immediately preceding<br />
years; and agree to fulfill obligations of the<br />
scholarship.<br />
Obligation: Must agree to return to <strong>Kentucky</strong><br />
and work for at least 2 years following<br />
licensure as a funeral director/embalmer,<br />
agree to repay the award if this requirement<br />
is not met, and agree to repay any and all<br />
awards in the event withdrawal from school<br />
occurs for any reason.<br />

financial assistance from the Scholarship<br />
Committee at the beginning of the third<br />

grandchild of a Phi Delta Kappa member<br />

Kappa member or chapter; submit 2 letters<br />
of recommendation, official transcripts<br />
and narratives describing philosophy of<br />
education; have at least a 2.5 GPA; and<br />
respond to a survey of questions related to<br />

and 2 letters of recommendation, 1 from a<br />
