Annual Henderson Settlement<br />

Scholarship for Seniors<br />

Eligibility: Must be a Bell <strong>County</strong> High<br />

School graduating senior; be enrolled in an<br />

accredited college or university; live in the<br />

geographical area once served by Henderson<br />

Settlement High School; maintain a “C”<br />

average in college or university to receive<br />

the award the following year; and submit<br />

to the Henderson Settlement Scholarship<br />

Committee proof of enrollment/acceptance<br />

by an accredited college or university, a copy<br />

of grades at the end of the academic year<br />

in order the scholarship to be continued,<br />

proof of voluntary community service, and<br />

a typewritten statement of need, including<br />

how much is needed, for what purpose, and<br />

signed by the applicant.<br />

Award: $1,000 each year; up to 4 years<br />

Eligibility: Must be a resident living in the<br />

Frakes service area of Henderson Settlement,<br />

be enrolled in a postsecondary education<br />

typewritten statement of need, including<br />

how much is needed, for what purpose, and<br />

signed by the applicant.<br />
