S210 ® PATCH PLUGS
Siemon’s 1-, 2-, or 4-pair S210 ® patch plugs provide a system solution for patching to the
S210 ® connecting block. Plugs are easily field-terminated using solid or stranded cable and
provide transmission performance exceeding proposed category 6 specifications.
The outer housing is transparent for viewing conductors to verify conductor positions.
Polarization features prevent improper insertion. Plugs have also been ergonomically
designed for easy insertion and removal. Each plug accepts Siemon’s colored icons for
additional circuit identification.

TECHNICAL TIP!
When S210 ® to MC6 cable assemblies are configured in the field, we recommend that
Siemon MC6 modular cords be purchased (see pages 6.2 – 6.3) and cut in half. The cut end
of the cord can then be field terminated to the S210P patch plug while the factory terminated
and tested modular plug end remains undisturbed.

The first of its kind that is both category 5e compliant and can be field-terminated to either
solid or stranded cable, the 4-pair S110 ® patch plug utilizes internal pair isolation to provide
electrical isolation between pairs to improve cross-talk performance so that the mated plug
and connecting block exceed ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-A category 5e transmission requirements.
