was a year of change – significant change for The Siemon Company and for our industry.
The tremendous global demand for Siemon products has resulted in the expansion and reorganization of Siemon Company
resources to better serve our customers. From manufacturing to shipping to engineering, Siemon employees have spent the
year 2000 adapting how we design, manufacture, and deliver our products. Externally the rapid acceleration and extent of
mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs continues to change the landscape of our industry. The rate of churn has created an
unsettled and uncertain environment across the industry in many organizations. As the Siemon Company begins its 98th year
of business, I can assure you that we intend to remain an independent family owned enterprise.
In today’s hectic business climate the only constant is change. During our 98 years in business the company has
reinvented itself many times. At the turn of the 20th century we were a small start-up serving the needs of the fledgling
telecommunications industry. Over the years The Siemon Company has anticipated
change and adapted to meet the needs of our customers. Today we have evolved
into a global supplier of cabling systems for the internet generation.
