The Siemon Company. I think in a few years’ time, the same will
be true of our 110 products. Our S110 ® product line has so
many advantages over other solutions out there that I believe
it will eventually dominate the market.
One of the key advantages the S110 ® block offers is greater
installation flexibility. Like most 110 products, you can route
the cables in from the side. However, the S110 ® also offers the
unique ability to route cables behind the block. Our patented
cable access openings allow cables to be fed from behind
directly to the point of termination. This helps maintain cable
geometry and ensures the best possible performance. Also, since
all cables are behind the blocks, the installation looks neater
and more professional. Every customer in my territory who’s
installed the S110 ® loves the look of the telecommunications
room when the job is done.
The other unique feature of the S110 ® block is the detachable
legs. They really make installations a snap. Just screw down the
legs, detach the block, dress in your cables, re-attach the block
and terminate your pairs. When you need to add additional
cables, you can easily remove existing blocks from their legs and
dress in more cables.
Performance and reliability are also advantages for our
product. Our S110 ® block and patch plug solution provides
component and channel performance up to 160 MHz. Like all
products made by Siemon, the S110 ® product line is made of
the highest quality materials and is designed for years of
trouble-free use.
