“I chose Leslie Wylie to be my honored educator. She has been my coach for cross country and track
since my freshman year at Klein Forest. Coach Wylie has motivated me to excel not only in my pursuit
of sports but in my academics as well. Her ability to lead such an amazing team each year I’ve been
at Klein Forest has given me the drive to pursue my goals and strive to be great. Coach Wylie not
only has been there to encourage me as I was running a race but has been there throughout my high
school career encouraging me to be among the top ten people of my class. Being on a team led by her
has been remarkable and I know it won’t be the same once I leave for college. I greatly appreciate her
magnitude of patience and leadership and I am blessed to have been able to be on a team that felt like
my second family. She has instilled in me a passion for sports and a drive for excellence. Thank you
