“Prior to taking Mrs. Sun’s English Dual Credit class, I honestly felt unprepared for college. I didn’t
know what to expect from a college course except for the long and tedious essays; however, my
perspective changed when I first sat in Mrs. Sun’s room. She’s able to bond with all her students
and her creative teaching methods help each student easily comprehend the material. She goes
out beyond the classroom, and treats all her students as if we’re kids of her own. Besides this,
her class reassured me that though college may seem hard, perseverance will get me through
everything. Her enthusiasm for teaching English is both intriguing and inspiring and taught me the
pleasure of constantly challenging myself. Mrs. Sun, the word thank you cannot simply describe
how much I appreciate what you have taught me. To me, you’re more than a teacher; you’re family.”
