“Mr. Juergen Schulz is a very difficult character to describe with anything smaller than an encyclopedia. His
numerous idiosyncrasies give his classroom an unmistakable charisma and create a learning environment that
is like no other. He is able to take full advantage of his superior intelligence to display a very unique approach to
learning and often encourages his students to do the same. I have learned the importance of skepticism and
intellectual creativity. He challenges us often and rewards our successes richly; our inevitable failures form us
into better, more motivated students. I often come to class excited to meet some unforeseen challenge - pop
quizzes and jeopardy-like competitions over recently covered materials are not uncommon. It is clear that Mr.
Schulz spends an extraordinary amount of time and effort preparing our lessons to ensure that we do not fall
into an intellectual rut. I am sad to say that it is unlikely that I will ever experience a learning environment like
this again. I will forever treasure the lessons and insights I have gained from my stay in the JSchulzGov.”
