“Throughout the past four years of high school, I have had the privilege of learning from many intelligent
and inspiring educators, but Mrs. Faber has had the biggest impact on me by far. I feel incredibly lucky to
have been one of her students during both 10th and 11th grade. Her enthusiasm and deep appreciation
for literature and writing not only made her class enjoyable and interesting, but also motivated me to
pursue my own interests. She taught me lessons that I have found to be invaluable both in and out
of the classroom: most importantly, to never be afraid to challenge myself. I know that in the years to
come, I’ll be facing a future filled with uncertainties and obstacles. Yet I believe that I am ready to face
them, and I have her to thank for that. I truly hope that she realizes just how much all of her support and
encouragement as a teacher have meant to me.”
